I take it since it looks much better and is probably a bit longer in run time, like the wide-screen rip I posted in the LQ section.
Btw. you can copy the cover I posted there: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd13 ... Poster.png. It's a bit better quality wise.

Thanks for the rip telmo!

Sorry - but it's totally impossible that the above version is the uncut version.
Why ?
Well, my own version (in Ntsc, at 24 f/ps) runs 1hour 21mins 49secs
The above version (in Pal, at 25 f/ps) runs 1 hour 16mins 49secs

In other terms, if you convert the running time of this thread's version from 25 f/ps to 24 f/ps, you obtain approximatively 80mins - and even a little less, in fact - certainly not the running time - 81mins 49secs - of my own version.

Of course, I'm not discussing the fact that a shorter version can have a peculiar shot, or even a little scene, absent in the longer version. I'm talking of the movie, not of a peculiar shot. And the fact is that this above version is missing at least 1mins 49sec of screen time.

The only way would be to make a complete comparizon of both versions, not just a little shot.

I don't know about your particular version, but Barbara Peters shot her version of this movie, THEN Roger Corman added sleaze scenes. So Corman's edition is longer than Peters' one, but Peters' one is the actual director's cut. I think I've read this on Fangoria some time ago.

Alright, so does this one have all the Roger Corman stuff as well? Or is it the fanedit that is in the LQ section?

Can somebody tell me at what time appears the decapitation shot - so I'll verify if this shot is in my version. In any case I can easily share it on eMule if somebody is interested.
As mentioned by Weezee, it could be the additional stuff by Corman which makes the difference, I'm not an expert about this movie, I only saw it when it was theatrically released in Paris and it was thirty years ago !

Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dR62TtwTYX0

The Decap scene is around the 1:02-1:07 mark.

If this scene is in yours along with the Corman added sleaze (i.e. rape) scenes...you have the full version.

Thank you for the info, Azrielabyss. I just verified and the shot is missing on my version...
So, the additional running time could be the additional shots made by Corman, and cut from Barbara Peeters own version ? do you have any idea of the nature of these Corman additions ?
I really don't remember where I got this version, I downloaded it some months ago, so it could have been a eMule file, a torrent file, or even something downloaded with RapidShare from a website which doesn't exist anymore...
Oh - I almost forgot : it's a full-screen version, so the Japanese version is certainly an improvement.

The scenes Corman added are:

#1. Peggy, the first girl to get taken by the Humanoids. The addition was her, grainy and badly shot, rape scene on the beach.
#2. The ventriloquist David Strassman and his dummy Chuck Wood, along with a girl in a tent and a bunch of bad jokes, get attacked by a Humanoid who then chases the girl to another humanoid who rapes her (in another grainy badly shot scene).
#3. The Salmon Queen is cornered and has her top ripped off by a humanoid, but she picks up a rock and bashes it's head in and gets away.

This is taken from the fan edit description in one of my posts above, there is a link if you want to read more.

Yeah well, forget that. The TMRC rip has everything you need and has the scenes you mentioned while the fan edit doesn't - despite the description (but look for your self if you don't believe me). Oh, I am talking about the fan-edit that I posted on this site sometime before.
