I have had some computer problems as of late so I haven't been on top of things like I would normally.Didn't realize so many people were without this one but I can release it again and complete it out....I may reinstall my operating system tonight so give it a day or 2 but it will be up for sure...until then......... The 1CD version of Maniac I saw was uncut, but I can't remember which rip it was.

@all4jaws: the version you got is cut. probably the uk rated 18 version. the original runs almost 89 minutes. in your version the head exploding scene has to be cut completely and other gorescenes are shortened. so go for dxa?s rip!

Well, the head explosion scene is in that version what I have..
and i agree with you, if that version is cutted, that should be
removed, so i don't know.. i just don't recall any 'jumpy' scenes.. but i'm going to dl that DxaKrators version too so we'll see..

I just checked, the end credits (or what i should call them) are
not complete in that version what i have. That may explain the
difference in running times.

I have this on DVD, the 'Letterboxed Edition, Directors Cut' version, which is fully uncut, but may have a misleading running time, because it is the 'Directors Cut' and one scene was removed (not Gore), it's the scene where Frank takes a women for a meal at a restaurant. If you look on IMDB (http://imdb.com/title/tt0081114/) the cover image they show there, is the same DVD I have.

A friend has my DVD at the moment, but if needed, I could get it back, and rip and release a 1CD version. The DVD also has commentary, and a trailer for the never filmed "Maniac 2 : Mr Robbie", which I could also rip.

I would much like to have that rather than this 2cd rip. Especially since cd1 is 520mb and cd 387mb and not really worth using 2 cds on anyhow.

Making an 1CDRip would be great, buckethead.

Just finished those version mentioned above. Great quality, but 1:26 runtime too and just as i thought french audio.
although it sounds very funny when the killer speaks french i don?t understand a single word of that crap.

I hang on DXAs Rip first. If you come up with a new release i?ll surely go for that too.

@DXA: Is your pseudonym on the mule "eyerishroses"?
Can?t find no sources for CD2.

@dxa: completed CD1. For CD2 there?s only 1 source and that?s not complete. Are you still sharing this? I only see your better half (eyerishroses) on queue, so u?ve gotten into os-problems again, dude? perhaps eyerishroses could upload cd2 for that case? would be great help.
