Any 10/100 ethernet card will do. They're all pretty much of a muchness nowadays.

I even used to use a 10Mbit card 'cos the CM doesn't get anywhere near the speed of the card.

With uk cable companies you have to phone up if you change hardware too, so they can register your MAC address with their servers. I know that some ethernet cards are incompatible so you might want to check with other users on your isp (go on ur isps forums if they have some)

Will XP detect this?

Can't find drivers.=(

dunno i have STB to ethernet and with ntl if U change nic/mac address just type start.ntl in IE address bar (beware, don't work with mozilla!!!!!!) and U can register mac address.
