its just out and its on 6cds.... i want this mother.... this is a very rare workprint from the Apocalypse Now 1979 version....

here is a bit taken from the nfo file....

We are proud to bring you the awesome
WORKPRINT for the
classic movie, Apocalypse Now! This is not the
Redux version, it is a rough cut that Coppola put
together just before the final edit in the Summer
of 1979. The quality of this Workprint ranges from
watchable, to pretty goddamn shit. But it's the only
print that ever leaked, you will NEVER see this
again. Unless Coppola is crazy!

We tried cleaning this cutie up, but it really was not
worth it at all. Instead, we decided to encode to SVCD
as that way it would at least retain SOME quality over
us doing it to VCD or even CVD.

Yeah it means extra bw to you, but face it, would you
want this in even worse quality than it already is?
Also, the last couple of CD's have weird sizes. This
movie was a bitch to squeeze on 6CDs.

We rest our case. :)

This version has so much more in it than any other
existing print, we know there are folks out there who
will really want this. The rest of you, who will just
bitch about quality or whatever and just trash this
release. Your the kind of people we don't give a fuck
about. Go waste your time annoying all the good groups
who work so hard for your precious ROTK screener coz
we don't have time for people like you.

REAL movie fans will understand exactly what this release
means and it's value. So to you people, enjoy. :>

I saw somewhere there is a crappy VHS version of a not yet released Director's Cut of Hard Target running over 2 hours and has A LOT of violence in it that was cut out of every version.
