Hellraiser is the victim of the general trend in horror recently, I think they'd rather make a "weird" donnie darko or even memento feeling film, rather than a monster/demon flick like hellraiser was and should be.
I think everyone for some strange reason is anticipating Freddy vs Jason (despite the fact that at least 6 sequels in each series have been shite). I've read some previews and it sounds like they are making a proper film rather than making a sequel, so let's hope it is slightly better
re-animator wise, i didn't like bride of the re-animator too much, i much prefered the original. Hopefully it can keep it fresh.
