Must conceed, you're looking rather dapper though. It's kinda funny that you're using the same barber as d0c these days. :)

Ah yes, that's it! "OHGOD DOES DALLAS", i knew it would come to me. At least those days are over now..........aren't they?

Hi there, I'm new to Emule and this fourm at the same time... found my way hear from buckTV.

Anyway good to see a nice collection of horror stuff... pity there is no uncut Videodrome dvdrip ;) still there was plenty of other stuff once I got here that is way cool.

All I need now if a Sci-fi fourm like this and I will be set for a while ;)

Thanks for the dead-donkey.

Welcome Jynks :)

For Sci-Fi, hopefully the new(ish) other movies forum will develop into something approaching what you're looking for (you never know!) otherwise I can't really help as it's not my genre of choice.

Sci-fi is my second favourite genre after horror. Never grabbed much sci-fi from mule yet tho.

Problem with sci-fi is that it relys so much on having a big budget to be good. I love it when they show big futuristic cities and landscapes, not just a couple of rooms. and offcource when they get big budgets, they gotta make it more mainstream and add lots of sillyness to be able to cash in on it. Lots of good movies (like 5th element for example) were ruined because of that IMO. There's almost no hardcore cyberpunk movies being made anymore. That's why Blade Runner will always be my fav. sci-fi.

would go into the 'a couple of rooms' section, just like star trek and all the rest. They don't manage to convince that it's actually a whole new world/time, which requires overviews and huge places on a grand scale IMO. Everything is too tiny which makes it look exacly like what they are : Sets.

Looks like it really is chainsaws to the death to StarTrek arena music this time Doey. :eatthis:

I hear on the grapevine that Monkey and his eskimo pals are already selling tickets. 8)

I have to agree. I'm not a fan of sci-fi, and now i think about it, it's probably partly for that reason. But what really gets my goat about the likes of StarTrek, is the endless banks of pointless flashing lights, which no-one could ever gleen any information from, that they insist on having in every bloody control room. Many Lights + Flashing, does not = Futuristic. IT JUST = SILLY!

But each to their own i s'pose.

Having said that, i could ruin Jolene Blalock for normal men! :moon:
