That is wat I think but.. .. . try a freddy vs jason vs ash google search

" Variety had a sit-down interview with director Ronny Yu about many topics including the success of the DVD and his upcoming projects, among them is "Freddy Vs. Jason 2". Yu was quoted as saying that Bruce Campbell's character "Ash" from the "Evil Dead" series is indeed involved with the project set to hit theatres May 2005. Yu said "Ash's place in the story is sort of a twisted referee for Freddy and Jason in the beginning of the film". Yu continues that, "But soon Ash gets over cocky, much like Freddy Krueger did in the original, after finding out that the Book of the Dead has a new destiny for him, to return to his original life. The only problem is he must vanquish two such "demons". One, the so-called "Guardian of the Dream World" who just so happens to be Freddy, and the other the "True Descendant of Hell", who is Jason Voorhees. So Ash begins to pit Freddy and Jason against one another for an advantage and then things go wrong for him as well". Yu insisted the film will not be titled "Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash" as rumored because Yu didn't want to consider Ash as a rival from both Freddy and Jason's past so it will be titled for now, "Freddy Vs. Jason Part II". Yu says "the involvement with Ash is only one of the veins to the story, you'll also see some old enemies and new massacre on Jason and Freddy's part".

I must I disliked part 1....

freddy was portrayed way to powerfull, especially after he was drawn into this world.....
Jason would rammed his head clean off with one punchin the old days

Yeah, jason was my fav....

back to the topic....after part 1 , i'm not waiting for it.....

/ME is nervously awaiting Alien VS predator....(fearing it's gonna be tosh)

I hope it isn't....that is one sequel I have been waiting years upon years for since I first read the comic.
I think your right on the jason thing though...the ending when he was out of the nightmare scene he should have been toasted as quick as that black girl was when he nailed her with the machete..I guess they had to make it interesting or a worthy fight for the climax...just wasn't beleivable if you have seen all the freddy and jason movies.
As far as Ash joining the series....I could see that getting pretty damned ridiculous...I could go on and on about my reasoning behind that but then I would be in danger of writing a mini novel.

I gotta say I would love to see this, but I really hope we do not. The series of films are not suited, the evil dead series is just way too different to mesh properly with F13 and NOES. It would not be a proper F or NOES movie with Ash reeling off his one liners and performing his over the top combat manouevres that cannot happen in the real world, I would prefer a 4th ED film instead.

Heh,ok hold your breath then....unreal...wonder who is going to helm ED4...It would be nice if they went back to the kind of thing they did with #1...although I am not counting on it.I'll still be there to see it when it comes out though probably,as with F vs. J 2.

evil dead 4, i am surprised that it may happen, but as kool as it sounds i'm not really looking forward to it, I guess it all depends, i don't know about the rest of you but army of darkness was probably the worse in the seris, i hope it's not a natural progression..

but ash/bruce has become a horror icon, that alone should carry the movie, i just hope they don't end the evil dead seris with a stinker of a film..

they better not use CGI *shakes fist*

I have to agree with you to some point. I also hope we don't get more horror-icon crossovers but since the first one (Freddy vs. Jason) was a big moneymaker, you can count on it there will be more to come. The shitty thing bout that will be the fact that the ones to come wont be great for sure. Somehow it seems to be difficult to make proper sequals nowadays (not to mention to poor remakes we have seen the last couple of months). But there is money to be made with these kind of actions, so they will go on making these kind of movies.

BTW, I really enjoyed Freddy vs. Jason 8)

If it wasn't for Freddy vs. Jason then we wouldn't be getting aliens vs. predator... it has been in the traps from just after alien 3 came out.... it was FvJ that pushed it into a green light.

Some cross overs will not be that bad.. after all if we get the comic movies doing it they will be just like the comic books. Punisher vs. Spiderman Vs daredevil etc etc.

Personal I'd go see Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash... the new movie wil not instantly make the old ones bad (something a lot of my friends seam to think concerning starwars) And I would prefer to watch a bad movie with the Ash character in it than a so called "movie" like "insert lame as hell movie (I'll use Swimfan)"

I still do not know about this on.. how many times has Evil Dead 4 been on the cards and then nothing....

I think that may be the idea, stick a cult hero like Ash in there and many ppl will see it regardless of how shit it is supposed to be, I know I would just to see Ash and Jason.

from what i read once on bruce campbells official site (this was a year or so back) no1 would touch making evil dead 4 so they decided they were going to make evil dead 4-6 as videogames, so if thats true there should be one more evil dead game to come (although the first one stank), but id more then welcome to watch a new evil dead movie aslong as bruce campbell is in it and its not one of these films made by a studio who dont want to pay money for the real stars and have some cheap bruce lookalike in it instead

I love bruce. Hell I got a signed postcard from him. BUT I suspect he's not a very expensive actor to hire. 'Jack of all trades' anyone?

"Cult" actors are rarely expensive

On a side note, anyone seen a campbell film where he is trapped in an airport with other ppl, and some of them are aliens? I caught a bit of it the other night on a movie channel, but never caught the name.
