some intressting read i found, about the new upcoming movie The Passion of the Christ...

*the final hour of "The Passion of the Christ" essentially consists of a man being beaten, tortured and killed in graphic and lingering detail. Once he is taken into custody, Jesus is cuffed and kicked and then, much more systematically, flogged, first with stiff canes and then with leather whips tipped with sharp stones and glass shards. By the time the crown of thorns is pounded onto his head and the cross loaded onto his shoulders, he is all but unrecognizable, a mass of flayed and bloody flesh, barely able to stand, moaning and howling in pain.*

enough to give grannies heart attacks!!!

i swear when i was at this film festival the passion of christ was opening next door...soo many grannies.

the whole kill bill thing keeps on seeming to get brought up which is quite ridiculos, mel gibson even mentioned kill bill on the tonight show with jay leno, saying that no one is seeming to complain about that movie with it's violent scenes... to me it is like night and day why the violence is so contreversial in the passion of christ.. it's because It's christ getting beaten, and people tend to be uptight about that (people normally love violence remember?)... but then again people now adays are too up tight about just about everything.. including a "nipple showing" which was not even a nipple showing called a crime against humanity... people need to relax.. the movie is supposed to be an accurate detail so why dumb down the suffering of christ..

I myself will probably not see the flick..

Quite frankly I found the movie to be pretty boring...Yeah the beat down was cool...but nothing that gave me pause or anything..I really don't understand the controversary surrounding this film...it really isn't that bad of a graphic setting...probably because it was Jesus up there getting beat up...Those things happened back then all the time...generic society wanting their violence sanitized like a feminine napkin.Pathetic
The one I want them to remake is Spartacus...a 1000 slaves all crucified on the road to rome...Now THAT is entertainment

well if they are going to a biblical remake of something then at least they can make it worth my while..They would probably screw it all up though and make it shit like everything else that is remade so it probably isn't a good idea...I guess I am more thinking if I were to remake it...then again it wouldn't ever get released with any sort of rating whatsoever since the hollywood types would have heart attacks themselves at what I would be willing to put up...What the matter spud? You don't like gladiator movies?
/me remembers Peter Graves from airplane

no, i can't believe you condoned any sort of remake :o Okay the odd ones are brilliant, but they are indeed odd.
Even joking, that just ain't funny :o

"Just remember Texas Chainsaw"
Everytime hollywood remakes a movie, Hollywood kills an original.

Yeah that is why I said if I were to remake it...I know they would end up screwing up the original,I was more thinking out loud about what a masterpeice it Could be..not what it would inevitabely become.
I was never into TCM in the first place, rednecks just aren't my thing..unless it is redneck rampage where I can kill a few..or postal 2 where I can kill many
I guess when I think of remakes to be done I think of it in a vey biased point of view on how I would actually do it..which differs greatly from what hollywood types would try and shell out.I need to start filming movies myself in other words, and unleash my vision on mankind.

This movie was strange to me ... I found it odd and very weird..
my question is how did Jesus paint that table? Did they have Duch Boy back than? and mary was a commedian with that line "It's never going to catch on" I laughed my head off... Too bad Anne Bancroft didn't take on the roll of mother mary, i guess it would have pissed off Mel Brooks.
:jesus:

ohh and on remakes ..."jesus christ superstar" would be interesting..

justin Timberfake as jesus :-o Anna nicole smith as Mary  and Britney as the hooker :P
