My pt of view: I dated a freak who had the bad habit of hitting me whenever he could not find words to express his anger. Better be a weirdo because one likes shitty movies than acting like a psychopath as if in a movie.

This is going pretty offtopic, so I just want to defend myself by saying, that you can't really get the impression of how i felt and what happened, by a couple of lines so if you want to know the exact story, go ask me privately.

No offense, I wasn't making comments upon you, just about my personal experience. Couldn't help reacting... Apart from being French, I'm also half a hot-blooded Sicilian, that makes me a total weirdo ;)

hm. got some friends that like horror but only one that
is really on my wave length.
perhaps he?s a little more pretentious than me - but viewed as a whole our souls are related.
there?s nothing better than hanging around with ya buddy and
watching evil dead. hehehe. minds numbed by thc. ehehe. :D

most of the people around me don?t care for my interests and i don?t give a fuck about theirs.
if i get to know with someone and notice that he/she doesn?t
know anything about movies/music that person isn?t interesting
for me anymore.
i always loved horrorfilms and stories. as a child i always peeved my father to buy me those horror radio plays. he never understood my liking for this kind o stuff.

never met a girl that liked "real" horror films.
i probably never will.

one last note: violence against women is indefensible.
i jogged a girl once. she made me maniacally with her stupid talking and she enjoyed watching me getting more and more in rage about her words.
i hate myself for that action until today.

I'm sure i have a rep as a weirdo with those who know me. My knowledge of films is fairly broad, so those I don't allow to see the real me just think I love movies. I'm lucky enough that my wife likes horror and weird movies (her fave is 2000 Maniacs which she saw at the drive in). The only thing she doesn't like is sexual violence against women. I have one annoying friend (spud will know who I mean) that watches a lot of horror. I can't really say that he likes it, but he watches it and catalogues it mentally. I have another firend who is a huge horror fan and a maek-up effects artist, but I don't see him too often. He's a huge collector. I'm sure there's not too much I've dl'ed that he hasn't bought.
So, I guess, I'm lucky.

yeah they say the same to me when i go for the chuck norris movies also :D but seriously i am in the same boat as you, but maybe i am weirder.. i like horror/weird movies, i am a fan of the heavy metal music genre collect old rare vinyls and are also very much into retro computers and retro consol machines... i just love to play with old stuff, i am addicted... and i am not a kid anymore... i am a old fart... like one day i did go into a toy shop and buyed a nintento 64 consol (i did find one they had forgot about) the chick behind the counter asked " are this for your kids?" i replyed "no its for me!" there i said it... no way i can go back now... i am a true weirdo ;)

You're not alone there d0c :) gotta love those old consoles

I don't know if you'll find this funny, some people do, others say that its wrong to hit girls. Anyway my last relationship ended in a fight, on one evening where my girlfriend didn't want to see Toxic Avenger, because it wasnt a 20 billion $ film  Well it wasnt exactly the reason, but it kind of pissed me off as well.

I pity the fool that dislikes bad horror movies.

just wait to you meet one of them girls that have 3 closed stuffed with shoes and she go fucking banans becouse she hasnt any footwear to use... that was the most crazy bi-atch i have ever meet... and they call me a wierdo...

with regards to pauls "support your local video shop" unfortunately for me blockbuster is pretty much the only local video shop for me, unless i want to go to the shop 10 minutes away and rent a nice varied choice of matrix, star wars episode 1 and bambi, altho if i decide to take the half an hour trip to "pop-in shop" thats not its real name but thats what everyone refers to it as, where i can rent up to 6 films all for ?1 each and tehy stock LOTS of gory, sick, that special part of the shop that the goths and mas murderers all hang round, kinda movies, hahah they even have zombie nightmare to rent, which i did so i know first hand how bad it is and not in a good way

oh ps: luckily most my friends have teh same taste as me, especially smit (arent all smits into gorey horror tho), ive even converted a few friends into teh ways of the goreage

hehe, i got hit in the head with a freakin frying pan. it's funny when it happens on tv, but when its me in the hospital with the skull fracture, it's hillarious.
i'd like it to be: if i dont hit women, then they dont hit me. but it doesnt work that way. no, no! i dont hit them, but they tackle me,thump my noggin with a golf club, put pesticide in my food, really try and hurt me. man, it isnt easy being me, i sometimes wonder wether i attract these sort of women, or if i somehow transform them into lowselfesteem psychobitches.

sweet lord, ive had some crazy bitches i been married/lived with.
still, if i could do it all over again, change the mistakes i had made and make amends,to right the wrongs and give it a second chance, i would seriously beat them bitches into pudding puddles.

My first wife was a real freak, the most painfull thing she did was smash a heavy glass over my head, amazingly I never got cut or a fractured brain box, just a little lump.

She stabbed me a total of 6 or 7 times, not at the same time but over a period of time. Also, I have no sense of smell really, and little sense of taste, so one day she made me a coffee and put half a cupof bleach in it, luckily I only swallowed one mouthfull. She threw a freshly boiled kettle of water at me too, luckily missed, unluckily hit the TV and blew it up.

The funniest one was when she smashed a cup and tried to cut my throat with it, and that was cos I accidentally bought her plain choc instead of milk choc.

The scariest part of this is the fact that the courts decided my disabled son should have residence with her, despite the fact she has a history of mental problems, a criminal record for violence, and I have not even been cautioned?!?!? She rejected him from birth and I raised him till he was 4, she showed up one day and took him, never saw him for 2 years as she got a restraining order against me. Going way OT here tho, so I will shut my trap.

Psycho bitch from hell!!!
Bet you she was great in the sack though..usually that is the only redeeming value to those kind.
Trick is just quietly leave before she wakes up and tapes razor blades to inside of your boxer shorts. :o
