Yes I've been told that!!!

By several people but last night I installed it to see if morphx was acting up and low and behold it MorphX acting up.

But after an hour or so releasing Pawcio 4.17SE was still only giving out H2MAM :?

Strange but I kept it on and this morning the stats still showed H2MAM was going strong.

Are you using that version of Pawcio PCA? Or 4.14?

I am using MorphXT 2.5, and I have upped nothing but HTMAM. Strange how mods work differently for different ppl.

Pawcio hates me, all I did was shaft his mum, and he gets all offended. Altho TBH, publishing the vid of it on consumptionjunction prolly didn't help either

4.17SE last time I checked it was giving out HTAMM only, but if you pwershare more than one thing, it completely ignores the powershares and just shares any old crap :(

On the file your sharing; Powershare --> Release, selective chunk sharing off, hide overshare off

On everything else, very low, selective chunk sharing, hide overshare default.

Works fine for me :)

yeah, that works for me too, but Pawcio doesn't seem to like powersahring MORE THAN ONE file at a time as I said.

Ah right well I'm only downloading a select number of files that I desperatly need NOW.

And only powersahring H"MAM.

So maybe you're right PCA. but all that matters at the mo is that H2MAM is going well

powersharing lots of files is an oxymoron, defeats the purpose of a powershare. However, I'm sure your meaning sharing lots of files with the powershare activated. IMO, stuff doesn't get spread efficiently or effectively enough that way. Take one file, and piggy back it until its decently spread then move on.

However, I have Dark Place shared on powersharing (all six episodes) and thats all that people are getting from me. I suggest a retry if it didn't work, because it hasn't performed in the way you mentioned yet. Been using it for a while now too.

It's fine for downloading (in fact it's fantastic), but not as good for releasing, esp not if you want to do a 2 or 3 disk release.

I hate you guys for making me (want to) try out Pawcio now, too. I'm sure it crashes on me and corrupts my share and downloads and infects my computer with viruses, worms and maggots! :-o

Ah glad 'm not the only one, eMule mods are bizarre

And as far as the whole Pawcio thing goes we just established that no 1 mod acts the same for all, so is futile argueing the case for pawcio's power of sharing a file - hehe

hmpfz, think I am gonna dump MorphXT too soon. I hear everybody raving bout 80kb/s down and my speeds are dying out at 40kb/s tops.

Wil give Pawcio a try and otherwise I will be back to plain eMule, there I had very good download speeds.

Morph underperformed dramatically on me too :(

And to think I let it spend all that time hashing my files. Then when I switched back, pawcio had to do it again, which it did in 1/4 of the time and without 'freezing' emule whilst doing the hashing. Morph must do something extra when you first boot when hashing, probably caching or something.

Sivka Gnaddelwarz used to be my favourite, but development has stopped on that :(

OK, Spud was (I assume) using Pawcio 4.14, the problems with uploading are in 4.17SE (the Kad client), to keep you download speeds AND have a decent upload client all you have to do is use 4.14 :)

And it'll avoid the buffer overflow security issue too (AFAIK)

Well the kad version doesn't even have a powershare option in it so that might be the problem with "powersharing multiple files" hehe :)

Buffer overflow is a non-problem for any kad version, if you don't use the webserver or IRC, there is no risk from that security exploit.

As of today I am running 2 different versions on 1 machine,Slug for releasing and Pawcio for my downloads....everything seems stable as hell and it seems I can now enjoy the benefit of both worlds with Pawcio's fast download rate(slug was maxing at about 35k) and Slugs great upload rate and control(Pawcio gives out about 3kb to me by a spoon).Don't know if others are doing this or not but I would recomend it for those that are having problems or at least try it and see how stable everything runs. :beerchug:
