I didn't love either of them, but I'd give them 7's. The first one was pretty good and would have gotten a higher score from me, if the werewolf didn't look so terrible. The second just seemed like a really natural progression to the story and I loved the ending.
The third seems kind of stupid. Isn't it back in the frontier days with the same girls? Stupid. Still, might be good.
My wife and I agree, besides my own movies, these are the best horror coming out of Canada.

Man... the first one was cool.. serious warwolf flick... (hasn't been done in a while) and the young girls metamorphosing into sexually rampant, snarling beasts as a metaphor for the uncontrollable urges of puberty was mildly interesting the first time around - at least engaging enough to see you through to the ripping and tearing bits.

But what had initially been a sort of HEATHERS with fangs, is now presented more like a bad student movie, where pubescent baldies whinge and moan about the woes of life with differing degrees of terrible acting.

The biggest scare I had while watching this movie was when I almost missed reaching the table while trying to put down my coffee mug. And were was the body count?? Half way through the movie the casualty count is one movie fans wasted life, a puppy dog and a meaningless extra.

Nooooo this film was bad, if not for quality for my expectations from the first.

What was the final body count of the first movie? 3?

Wolf? WOLF! That was one of the classic pieces of overblown crap from Hollywood, IMO.

You simply can't beat the American one in London IMO. It reigns supreeme in the werewolf genre.

Ditto..

Though I have a bit a a gripe with American Warwolf in london... I feel it is directly responsible (along with its team mate Evil Dead 2) for cheapening the hroor genre into a buch of stupid jokes...

I mean those to films got the horror/comedy SOOOO down pat that people who would never watch a horror movie saw it and producers went spare trying to find the comic/horror. And so many of them sux.

wolf was much better than this though. I thought ginger snaps was mediocre, which wolf was too... but wolf had Jack so it wins

Dog Soldiers whips them all to pieces though
