tnx. will try it out.

BUT, did any of you guys see the test here:
http://www.dvd.box.sk/

It has a 'Big movie recoding quality test' and there dvdclone don't come out too good. Instead 'Intervideo DVD copy' is the vinner with a result so similar to the original, it's really difficult to tell the two appart. any comments?

Only problem though, is that I'd like to use the new version 2, but have been unable to find any working crack/serial for that.

i use http://www.dvddecrypter.com its very good and its free you guys should try it, i also use clonedvd when a movie need to be compressed and... but clonedvd is very easy to use and the quality is good you will not see any diffrent. if you do under 64% it will be crap thats the limit with clonedvd some of them movies is over 2 hours and that can be a problem then you need to cut out extra crap to save quality of course. dont go under 64% and you will be safe... thats my experience with clonedvd... if you must have the xtra crap buy the dvd... i can live without it.. the movie is most important.

@john, thanks for the link, i will take a look at it :)

John_Doe, I wasn't very surpised at DVDshrink coming out low, but cloneDVD was a bit of a surprise, it normally does so well when I've tried it.

@spud & doc: It's all there in the test, with many screens to compare. You can't argue with those shots. Clonedvd, whilst better than Shrink, is still WAAAAY lesser than Intervideo.

as i said before... if you do under 64% in clonedvd it will be crap and your forced to kill extra stuff if you want good quality... the crap heads over the site you mention dont understand that ... and is that intervideo 2 dvds or 1 dvd?.. that is also a question...

as spud says he get good quality on clonedvd and that is a guy that have a long experience in ripping movies...

well i guess my recommendations weren't far off, I always recommended Pinnacle for quality and CloneDVD for speed/quality ratio.

It seems though, that Intervideo DVD copy has improved greatly. I've installed and will try it next time I do a DVDr.

Says its very fast too, so I guess it will replace clonedvd :)

what version did you go with spud?
the version in the test is 1.2 (or something) but now there is a new ver 2. But I've been completely unable to find ANY working crack/serial/keygen for it.

aaaaaahh.. just got it working as you sent me the pm. You had to set the date back one year before trying. then the serial worked.
