Oh well ,since a few already found this using rough search (is that Naschy dude that popular ?), might as well throw it public .....

originally ripped for Iconoclast as a *ahem*[pompous scene mode] INTERNAL [/pompous scene mode] release , he left the day I completed it....

The source was believe it or not dvd , quite frankly I have 20 year old tapes that look better than this...

Add in account rushed ripping (didn't crop it properly  ) and you'll have one bad looking flick.....

Sharing for 1 month ONLY - it's boring crap ....werewolf vs yeti and werewolf vs vampire women are far superior.......

People I just watched the quality and it is atrocious ; Part for the source but I f*cked up too..( READ: lazy bastard me didn't use extended settings )
Just encoded it with the most basic settings...

And this is what you get

Image

it's not completely hideous.....as long as there's not too much & fast motion
Image

Anyway I felt guilty ..... will keep sharing...but....recommend you cancel it..... I would have

Can't re-rip it ....it wasn't mine....

dammit it was meant to be a one to one , only to be watched once rip.. There goes the name..

I dunno, I couldn't say without the rip, specs or more screenshots :(

It could be a framerate issue, if its captured at the wrong frame rate, it will have the wrong number of frames per second and screw up like in that drunken wolfman pick.

I don't see how this could explain it all but if you want the specs....

koepie's 24-06-03 (yeah I'm lazy when it comes to upgrading :P )

a whopping 1045 kb/s at 23.976 FPS( I'll be damned if I can recall wether or not i ticked de-intrelacing (it's been 2 weeks) )
512*400 Mp3 vbr115 kb/s bla bla .... look I really coded for speed - I don't, unlike most of you , have a spare old PC to encode....

Left out VHQ , QPEL the like for this one....so don't blame those...(if I tick those encoding time DOUBLES on my rusty p4)

Doesn't strike me as your typical-forgot to-deinterlace though....
I can see a taint of it but it's more of a ghost effect .....wich accordind to this http://www.divx.com/support/guides/guid ... id=8#part2 (scroll down about 55% till you see this "Take That" boygroup Fag passphoto.....) is due to a noise filter overuse

Ah hell that's IT !!!

I think I DID preview the source and thought I was smart by applying a noise filter.....to clean up the source a bit....

guess I ticked the wrong filter

Allright now ,I,ve confessed ; now put those clevers chainsaws andaxes down :jesus:

EDIT : DAMN :o this guy is popular....Such a shit rip of a boring flick and over a dozen who jump on as if their lives depend on it !

I never use that filter man...it degrades the output I have found.

gspot specs will do next time

hmm can't be a fps problem then, unless of course it was a pal video captured :o Didn't hear of the noise filter causing that problem, use convolution3d next time to clean it up and increase compressability and use undot.dll to denoise :) Works wonders :)

Nor me, just use my normal one ;)

Blurs? Yes they tend to do that :( But I've found using undot and convolution3d in combination with a sharp resize filter gets great results, so its not always bad.

Some filters I have used give a very washed out effect on the final copy not to mention it tags a shitload more onto your encoding time. Not tried undot but as of late I haven't had to use a filter for any reason at all luckily...Now with some of these vhs caps that I am going to be working on I guess I will have to see...I may try that just as an experiment to see if it comes out any clearer i.e. remove pop marks and tracking lines from a vhs source.
@ ohgod...don't worry about it...at least here is something out there for this film now, glad to see Naschy's werewolf movies are making it here...although I am STILL waiting for the last 2 hashes for Moon of the Wolf..which has been like what?3 or 4 months now? :?
