basically PCA, if I'd a tagged your file as HHAH and you then sent me that I would be :

"I'm real sory mate but there was no PCA on the file and I just put real.de on the end, I feel the same about tag renaming as you blah blah"

Hi,

before you get angry you should understand how my page works. People
submit links, the staff tries to verify the availability and the
correctness of provided information - like the ripper tag - then it gets
added to the site.
the [www.the-realworld.de] tag is not an ownership tag and neither do we
claim to have released/ripped/whatever the files. We try our best to
identify missing ripper information and include it. Nevertheless in most
cases we have to rely on the information provided by the one who submitted
the files.

In case of this Movie it doesn't really matter anymore, as there are no
movies on this site anymore.

The tag itself is merely an information that it is/was linked on the site
and is verified to be correct. Similar to the former sharereactor tag, or
those of the various ed2k search pages around.

I apologize for the mistake and that this upset you. But the most
important thing in my opinion is the link getting spread around and your
file stays alive in the network.

Seriously, its just the saga of emule. Keep your filenames neat and there's less chance some homosexual pigdog will retag it.

Wuff is right in so far that he obviously had not much control over this particular scenario, the way the site works is that some other troll submits the links and then the admin/mods are supposed to check them and then submit them. Obviously a moderator was having one of those very lazy day, and didn't bother to check. It happens I guess

However, I find this bit a tad contradictory:

Quite clearly if the tags aren't correct, the file simply hasn't been verified and early says that anyone can submit a link. Unless 'verified' refers to someone submitting it, which seems a bit of a lax way of doing things. SR on the other hand had a dedicated team of "releasers" who were supposed to verify stuff. Just sounds like the realworld tag maybe purely advertising though, rather than any verifying thing.

Regardless, I don't think a lot of these flames are really warranted are they?

Every filetag is filtered on the mainpage (and i do my best to restore removed stuff) and I do my best restoring the ones on these forums too (mostly d0c with his bloody SVCDplaza xvid rips :lol:

i'm not surprised about this...i've seen a few of my rips on numerous other sites with my tag removed but to be honest TRW has not been one of them they have usually been quite good for me

shareconnector i know had one of mine untagged and so did that japanese/chinese? verycd.com of one of my latter rips (when the wind blows).....it pisses me off a LOT this happens :matrix:

and i am seriously thinking about NOT posting MY releases over at SC anymore (even though other fuckers do) cuz they are just a bunch of leeching bastards that can't even type the word "thanks" .......take my latest rip for example NOTLD....181 views to the page but not one thanks?....i'm pretty sure that some if not all are downloading it and will type some other crap in the "bullshit" section but can't type thanks for a rippers time in a thread like that :roll:

seriously, I think I've yet to find any place where people are as passionate about movies and the rips as HHAH. FH comes close, but there are a little too many users there IMO. Too many noobs that never bother to go beyond the initial req, and never come back.

I agree Mr doe, I think we got a good thing going here, close community and the userbase is growing slow but steady, allowing newbs to get to know us better and us them.
