Does anyone use dvd builder in this suite of programs?

If so, when i select quality the only one that fits on a dvd is the low
quality option, all the others are over 5gb.

When i use low quality it ends up with a file size of about 2.5gb, which is a waste of a dvd really.
Can anyone tell me if theres any options to make a file size of about 4gb??

John

urrrgghh! run as fast as you f*cking can.

Roxio shouldn't be allowed anywhere near anything. There biggest plague, easy cd creator is such a shit cd writing software and you'll never guess who makes the inbuilt crap-o-rama writing software for XP!

Ditch it asap.

no but if you simply have to do it, use TMPGenc, a few more clicks but so much better quality.

everytime i've used TMPGenc it's ended up out of sync, the same file encoded into avi2svcd has been fine.
I'll have to bugger about with something else, shame tho cos it was so easy, mind you the result wasn't much better that encoding it wiv Nero

Ok,
I've now got a 4gb mpg file.

I've got nero 5.5.9.14 and theres no dvd option, do i burn it as svcd onto a dvd disc?

Ok i gotta get nero 6 for dvd burning, can i put chapters in with this as well?

I just tried to reload the mpg into TEMPGenc plus but it says 'illegal stream format' or something, do i need to upgrade this to put chapters in before i burn it?

just thought i'd update this thread, no-one interested of course, but i need some sort of closure. I used TMPGenc DVD author to put chapters in and change the mpg to vob files, took about 20mins, and burnt it with the same proggie, worked fine thanks.
