This idea has some potential. And the sequel could have an army of cloned a-holes.

Sorry that joke was so tired it was yawnful... then again, I am expecting a lot for an american 'comedy' to be at least original.

So I'm the only one who had seen the exact same jokes done hundreds of times before? To be original in this day of age... what a foreign concept... which brings us to rectuma aka Idle Ass...

:o

I assume its an off shoot of the Mexican Staring Frog gone wrong :mrgreen:

Any links for this film then, is it even on DVD?

I can't find any evidence of it being!

Lets split this topic now before it gets hi-jacked by eurotrip talk!

Any-one watching that film expecting originality and brand new jokes, is definetly going to be let down.
However, there was enough enjoyable moments to make this film passable and even enjoyable.
And enough nudity to satisfy, dare I say it? Even Maxpayne2409!!!
On the level EuroTrip is meant to be watched it definetly excelled for me, a very well made film with good acting and great scene set-ups........again on the level it is geared at.
I'm not saying burn ya copies of Monty Python/Something About Mary coz this film rocks......but on the video store shelf next to Sorority Boys, Slackers, Van Wilder, Boat Trip, Super Troopers etc etc and all the other crap in this genre Euro Trip comes out quite well!
Yes it's LAME, but enjoyably LAME :P
:beerchug:

Now get me a link for Rectuma....Please, I want to see if it can be worse then Monsturd :lol:

dang, unit-731... you have a mission to rent, rip and release this title or face eternitity with the lacklustre unfunniness of .... Eurotrip! :lol:

@max,

That's retarded, its a comedy... I expect it to be funny and at least the slightest bit original, or something thats passable. It was badly scripted and devoid of comedy bar the odd moment which I'd seen before. How's that over thinking.

@paul,

The opposite was my criticism, there were a few, but so scare I wouldn't bother with ir.

I take it you mean all those naked 50 year old men on the nudest beach :lol:

Super Troopers, etc.

I think you are doing those films discredit with your comparison, super troopers and the like are normally pretty good at 'what they do', proper comedy acting and at least a decent run of jokes make them good. I have super troopers on DVDr somewhere, and lots of other yanky comedy, most of which are entertaining if a bit samey.

The fact that Max seems to like it is the only reason I'm bothering to criticise it here that much / at all :lol:

We need something to bump the topic until someone actually sees it :lol: oh and a topic on eurotrip would be overkill.. watching it is enough :lol:

I'm up for a brail version if that's more convienant? :mrgreen:

These 'quiant titles' are only really available for people via emule... but then if we had instaneuous access to everything it wouldn't be as fun :)

Man Super Troopers Sucked Big Time :evil:
Remember taking it home from work on the weekend and definetly NOT thinking is was funny -amuzing/entertaining YES, but remember being let down comedywise by it :?
Although both you and John_Doe rate it, maybe I accidently took home a Sandra Bullock flick by mistake :P
Will have to rent and rip next time I'm home and maybe give it another watch!
Same guys did Club Dread, right?
That was funny, maybe I just wasn't in mood to get Super Troopers. - The one where they want to close down the police department, right?
