For me, the biggest factor that inspired me to start using a browser other than Internet Explorer, was the constant majority of these spyware and vulnerabilities that are commonly programmed for Internet Explorer. There are other browsers out there that can compete with IE, Mozilla Firefox is a complete browser filled with tons of features that?s only light in size. From a built in pop-up blocker that works better than many commercial pop-up blockers, to tabbed browsing, these are just two of the factors that contribute to making Firefox an internet browser?s dream.

Yeah, i like the look of that d0c. Especially the way it deals with HTML text formatting, that really narks me in IE. I have a friend who moved to Firefox recently and has been singing it's praises, so i will be checking it out myself soon.

I gave it a whirl a few days back, not bad... it still had those annoying quirks like opening shit in new windows instead of tabs, but a plugin or two fixed that. It still had a lot of bugs navigating around. I love the image blocker, ads dissappear in a flash :) I'm too lazy to edit my hosts file. The copy in html format is a great idea too.

However, it turns out that Opera had released a new version, and when I tried that its vastly improved (over something that I thought was damn good too). I was only on 7.2, but its now upto 7.50 and its really great. Sidebar is even better and I need to be able to set my own html pages to the sidebar to improve navigability. I've ended up using opera 7.50.

@bassline if your a google bar sadist, do a google for mozilla plugins (or extensions). There's one to add a "google bar" to it. :)

oh contrare, its far better than firefox from what I've used, went straight back to it. Firefox seemed about the same as the other mozillas tbh.

I don't know. my preference is definately Opera. I've tried very many browsers, but been using IE most of my life (my internet life! heh).

And then The Opera came along (or at least I found it:), and I've been hooked ever since..

It's smooth, fast, virtually bug-less (the last two versions), has the same options/features (is that spelled right?) as Firefox. Frankly, I haven't noticed one thing that really works better with Firefox...

Saaaaay, Boss-Spud... What game is that signature from? That nintendo game?

sorry I thought I had, my bad... I googled for "Mozilla plugins" and it was listed on most sites. I didn't bother bookmarking. It will be listed under tabbing or tab browsing sections, with a description like "open all links in new tab".

A sequel to the only game I really obsess about:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic. ... 3&start=20
THE nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda :)

and yes... this is just another opportunity for me to advertise how awesomely cool that franchise is (bar the one official title that doesn't live upto the name imo).
