Over the last few months i have come across several .ISO, .BIN etc that are like 750 Megs. Now with Nero and Overburn the size of this file will still not fit on to a regular CD. SO i try it with a DVD and nope Nero dont like it. The file shareing community LOVES Nero, so your forced to work with .BIN files.

My question to you all. Is there something that i can do thats not to geek techy to ge this to fit onto a CD. With a normal .CUE sheet and the .BIN file i am constantly haveing to say good bye to things i have downloaded and want because i am not in the know like these super leet kids out there that know how to put a 800 meg image onto a 700 meg disk.

Could someone please throw me a bone on this :?

Those files are only oversized in the image form. If you burn them on CDs as images, they fit 700 MB CDs.

Just open Nero, click whatever to close the initial dialog box and then choose Recorder->Burn image.

Yes i am aware of that and do that, still dont solve the problem when i get the "CD/RW is not big enough to mount image. Plase insert a CD with enough space to burn".

And yes the disk is blank.

After doing alot of searching and reading i have found a way to get it to work better then i had imagened.

Which version of Nero are you using? I think I had this problem once, however - I installed a new version and this helped.

I had similar problems and solved it by burning the cue & bin as a nero image first ( just click the burn image check box ).
The nero image would then fit on a 700mb cd in most cases (with overburn). For the times when it doesn't, I always keep a few 800mb discs handy.
Hope it works for you :D
