Hi...

Been getting an awful lot of these lately:

File "dawn.of.the.dead.(1978).[director's.cut].dvdrip.divx.5.0.2.cd1.wrist.avi" has already been written from 57118720 to 57119743, 1024 bytes, part 5-5</i>

wtf does this mean?

and quite frankly, i don't like'em  and by an awful lot i mean one every second for 15mins then stop for 20-30mins then 1 every min for 15mins again (if that made sense).
Coincidently (not that i know if this is relevant), dawn of the dead (the above file) has, at the time of me writing this , 109.44MB corrupted data of a total of 188.05 downloaded :?

sorry if this is a stupid question, but it's the first time i've ever gotten this msg

What emule client are you using? That would help some in figuring out the problem. You may want to try another client and copy that into your new client and see what happens. That is a strange one though, not gotten it ever.

up until recently i have literally been PLAGUED with computer crashes
(i use official eMule 0.42e btw).

every time i tried to shut down eMule my whole computer froze. then i had to just close it by holding in the "on/off" button. which led to me losing 42 downloads :-/ with the help of some friends (which i usually send some cool links to) i've been able to track most of the downloads down again and i've restarted them.

i uninstalled my firewall AND my realtime antivirus scanner.. that fixed me up good 8)
i no longer have any problems with computer crashes, but am i getting this one faulty file cause of the recent crashes? would it help to quit the file and then restart it?

if yr pc/mule keep crashing it almost certainly the cause of the prob, restarting the file from fresh should sort it out but is a pain in the arse

Can't help with the message but that version of DOTD (DC) is the most corrupt file I've ever tried to download, virtually every part was corrupt - I gave up on it a coupla days ago and am now trying for this single CD rip

ed2k: Dawn.Of.The.Dead.(1978).Director's.Cut.avi  [699.06 Mb] [Stats]

it's coming in slowly but surely without the corruption.

Just been looking through the log on this one and this seems quite corrupt too (not as bad as the other though) so have just started to try this hash also

ed2k: [DivX.-.ENG].Dawn.of.the.Dead.(Director's.Cut).avi  [699.06 Mb] [Stats]
