I want to know what the referee was looking at when he disallowed that goal

It blatantly wasn't anything in the box. Where's the guy from the Hills Have Eyes when you need him?

Why on earth substittute sholes for a defensive midfielder when the match was all but done ?

Didn't you british watched Czech - holland ?

no, i would have accepted it but I wouldn't call it a fair disallowal. He blatantly gave a free kick in reaction to something he didn't see.

Bad refereeing, no wonder no1 respects them.

Then again, I've only seen it once and a few replays... I couldn't hear the commentry cos I was in the pub. So unless something mystical happened, england had it won at 90mins... but instead I bet they feel like robbed pensioners

bah no one cares about football anymore  I only watch england games, don't even much care for the sport myself

BTW. saw that beckham penalty again, wasn't as bad a miss as I thought. His foot sinks a couple of inches and the ball rolled :o unlucky bugger

On this side of the world we watch football the way it should be seen, as a 2 minute highlight reel.

lol, with internationals its not like league games really, so I can happily sit through a full game and beyond, but for league matches, its unbareable even to watch a 2min highlight reel  I'd much prefer a 0min highlight reel :)

well this ones a sport that involves using your foot... tell me if you can't keep up with this concept....

On the gaysport-o-meter, American 'foot'ball is right up there with cricket, ballet and tiddlywinks show jumping.

Seriously though, as much as I dislike football, I'd rather watch it than any of the aforementioned sports. Rugby's another crap one too :outsider:
