your probably connecting too fast in a certain time limit (likely if you use mldonkey still btw :) ), failing to upload and download in his bandwidth tracking stats (unfair but I know some clients do it), or he has a buggy client.

Maybe all or none who knows, its only a bit of text, its going to be hard to pin it down ;)

God I'm glad I got rid of MLdonkey, but today on NeoMule, some guy had sent me a message saying 'What do you have to exchange for what you are downloading from me? If you don't trade something I will disconnect'!

What a joker!!

As long as there is no other client which has separate gui and core and runs under Linux, I won't change.

Ok, I meant a client, which actually downloads. If I wanted to use this one, I'd better open an anon ftp service.

Well with the download speeds tenfolding when I moved to NeoMule, I don't really care, but I'm gonna have to give this PC back when I get my Mac back then it will be back to MLdonkey :(

I think ML must stand for Much Latency

Anyway, I never got that message on MLdonkey, but I always used to get, 'your client is connecting too fast. you have been banned.' even when i set the reask down... I could never get on Razorback in the last few months either with ML.

Tenfold dl speed would be nice, but still, I have a very small gateway/router/cripple firewall machine, which runs 24/7 and has additionally mldonkey on it. For a linux emule version, I'd had to install X. Not thanks. Not on this one.

Of course. If I meddled with the reask settings, I surely would not complain, when I get banned. :-P

True, but with the newest patch I should be possible again...until Lugdumum-cretin finds another trick/excuse to harass mldonkey.

Oops I meant to say put the reask time up! To stop it asking so often. But I still got the messages anyway so I changed it back.
