Just had my system lock up on me, and after rebooting and starting up emule again, I find that one of my downloads (not completed) is missing.
The part file is still in the temp directory and taking up space, but the file doesn't appear in my download or shares list.
No error messages given for this and I've checked the part file, which seems to be ok.

Anyone know if there's anyway I can get this to re-appear, as it's taken me weeks to get to 50% on this one and I really don't like the thought of starting from scratch again

Any help would be greatly appreciated :beerchug:

edit: Forgot to mention that I've already tried the methods in the emule help files, but none worked unfortunately.

You'll need the part.met / part numbers of the files in question and then use an app like donkey doctor to sort it out:
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules.php? ... load&cid=5

Your part.met files have become corrupted and filled with null data, hence why the downloads dissappeared.

Cheers Spud, but it didn't work unfortunately.

All attempts have either changed the file to another film entirely, or resulted in errors (part file not known). Looks like the hash got messed up originally, as I have a duplicate of one file in my paused que, which I've confirmed to be the same .part file as my lost download.

Is it something rare? If not, simply start downloading it from the scratch. :)

The file is Dolls.(1987)Nose4weirdShit(Xvid).avi
Not sure it would class as rare, but it's not being shared well by the people with full sources. I've been downloading it for about 6 weeks and got just under 50% of it so far. (most of that was from one guy who's now stuck at the same point as me ).

I might just try one of the other rips available, more sources but I'm not sure they're in English :?
