i already ordered hellraiser cube thing. Good year this year, we get LOTR: ROTK:Extended, Hellraiser, Dawn, Simpsons S4, Red Dwarf S5 and of course Star Wars Trilogy.. which are must buys, at least for me, then I know there's going to be the odd 'cool I didn't know that was being released' impulse buy.

hmmm.....seems they haven't included the 156min german (red) edition (which is what i wanted to see in english)....and they've got the bloody argento cut with commentaries from the cast....damn i hate the argento cut

i'm not impressed, all those versions are readily available to us except the 156min one which they have so kindly not released in english, the only good thing are the commentaries IMO....but i'll be buying it as i'm a completist(?) :P

Ooh yeah that looks nice!

Personally, I'm waiting for the Twilight Zone 2002 boxset that's coming out Sept 7th! All the Twilight Zones are coming to DVD, a new set of the originals (in season order this time), and the 1985 set is coming too!

me wants them all 8)

The Star Wars DVDs, are they gonna be pre-SE, SE or a new SE with even more horrible things added? Just downloaded the LD rip DVDRs, not looked at em yet though...

Star Wars will either be SE or super-SE. The rumors are flying on that already. No chance of the originals. According to Lucas, those are rough cuts. So, why the hell did he release them to theatres and video?! What a bastard!

Spoilt we are, especially by Red Dwarf Series 5, but this has been killing me waiting for these DVDs to come out so slowly - understandable though.

And now my 9 yo son has become a Red Dwarf junkie, he keeps watching S1-4 in order over and over. He has taste but I'm getting worried - the word Gimboid has become rather overused in our household :-o

@Some Random Dude: The dates have been announced on the 2 80s Twilight Zone set, they are:

Season 1 - 12/28/2004
Seasons 2&3 - 3/29/2005

@whoever cares: I found this about the changes in Star Wars DVDs, but I'm sure this is OLD news, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, but just in case anyone missed it:

yes... its very old news, that's been 'rumoured' since last august and confirmed for about 3 months

http://scifi.dead-donkey.com --> ROTJ thread or the Lucas Rape thread in cabal.

Looking at ROTJ screenshots, a lot of the dodgy sfx like the obvious bluescreening has been fixed too, so its not all that bad...
