PC_Arcadehope it wasn't recently as not a patch on the book from what i remember, altho was long ago i read teh book/saw this movie

i was just being polite

is a shame as there never been a good film based on Herbert's books whereas too much gets spent on lamo movies for some of the other 'great' writers

Maybe I was a little harsh, but the book was excellent and the movie just didn't live up to my expectations.

If you haven't read the book then maybe the movie will be better for you than it was for me.

I agree that there's never been a good movie based on a James Herbert book, so many good books so few films made of them.
