Yeh, Jaws inspired one or two films of this ilk - fortunately i don't ski so don't really come into contact with snow/mountains/forests - but I still see nightmare visions of an underwater shot of someone tredding water every time I'm out of my depth in the sea - a truly effective film!!! :-o

I meant the thing where the entire town is holding their yearly festival that brings money to the town and the mayor ignoring the warings of the police that there is something eating people
Ducks don't like clowns ohgod...they are scared you will step on them with your big clown sized feet

I'm having the same problems as Jynks with this file....ok for the credits, then the video and audio is so choppy it's unwatchable.

According to G-spot there was no problems with codecs. I did re-install them all ( after uninstalling ), and this had the effect of making it even worse.

Any ideas, or should I just download it again?

I wouldn't d/l it again since it is possibly something you can fix at your end...what player are you using and how do you got it configued? That might help trying to figure out what's wrong here...not sure if Jynks ever got it to finally work or not.I assure you it works fine here and others are watching it with no probs so it might be a setting if you reinstalled your codecs and that didn't work.

I usually use Bsplayer, but have others installed too (mpclassic, zoomplayer and standard media players ).
Tried it with all, and get the same result.

I've also tried playing it from cd as well as the hard drive (defraged 3 days ago).
Codecs were all installed individually, as I usually do.

I've had a couple of films before that stuttered, but those were just occasional and didn't interfere with viewing. This was bad enough before I reinstalled the codecs, and constant from about 1 minute into the film.

As for Bsplayer settings, they're all on default and it's the latest version. The only thing I did tweak was brightness settings, as my monitor is old making most games/videos too dark unless I boost this.
I did lower it to see if that helped, but no luck.

Have you tried loading it into nandub or something like it?

Just installed nandub (never used it before).

I assume you meant for me to try playing the file using that? If so, then it's even worse than using any of the media players.

It did give me an illegal codec warning though, something to do with Divx. Is that normal?

Appreciate the help by the way :D

Anyone interested in a re-rip of this?..If so I can do it as I got the dvd again.Seems a few people have had some problems...would make this a 1/6th dvd rip I suspect. If this old rip is still acceptable then I'll move to something else
