Never have I seen it take THAT long time before, but I got a anti-virus scan scheduled at 11:00, so that's probably the reason for that.

And g-spot output of the finished file:
Quote:
Filesize.....: 422 MB (or 432,866 KB or 443,254,784 bytes)
Runtime......: 01:40:21 (150,516 fr)
Video Codec..: XviD
Video Bitrate: 453 kb/s
Audio Codec..: 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3
Audio Bitrate: 127 kb/s (63/ch, stereo) VBR LAME3.90.?
Frame Size...: 608x336 (1.81:1) [=38:21]

Now that first thing I noticed was that I somehow had gotten an old version of AutoGK installed, so I'm downloading the newest and gonna try it again. If that doesn't work, I've got no clue.

:-o

If it were only a few MB, I'd say it's the overhead issue, but that's a HUGE deviation from the target size. I never saw it do something like this. JD, why don't you try the normal GK for a change? If you have any questions you can contact me via eMule or PM and I'll guide you step by step. I think there's something seriously wrong with AutoGK anyway, it seems to automatically apply some fiter or something, the colours usually get extremely bright compared to the original, even bleached. Did you notice that?

Gonna try another with the even newer AutoGk. It has a few nice changes:
Quote:
- soft matrix for XviD is now Jawor's 1CD matrix (so resizing algorithm was adjusted)

if that doesn't work, I guess I'll try using divx instead.

I am just ripping a movie with GK and, for the first time in my life, I'm getting a seriously oversized file (1,69 GB without sound  ). I seriously don't know what may be causing it. Any ideas? I double checked all the settings, but still no clue.
