I am for real. Ask me anything if you don't believe me. It is not available to buy in the UK. The DVD is Region 0 NTSC. We don't have it in the PAL format yet, unless someone has ripped the disc and changed it to PAL.

There's one way to know forsure. When you complete one of your zombie flicks your working on make a rip of it and release it here before it shows up anywhere including the stores. Then we'll know forsure :D

I suppose that in the unlikely event that this one is published in Germland it will be that heavily censored that when the last line of the opening credits vanishes the first line of the closing credits appear. :(

ok, i dusted off the ol' emule to snag this movie. i do like zombie movies, and some lower/no budget ones arent too bad.

so, has anyone written any kind of a review for maplewoods?
beyond just 'it's appauling/you'll regret watching it' -

(as all my life i've regretted seeing a baby born, but that doesn't prevent me from having sex, because i do so love the process of getting women pregnant)
and perhaps this movie will be similar. somehow. though it made sense typing the above sentence, it seems to have lost whatever i meant to say. god dammit, i'm a mental patient, not a guru!

I really like that someone who had a part making the movie pops in here, and not demand it to be taken down. As I understand it, if an owner of copyrighted stuff is aware and yet does nothing to stop IP theft, if some big company stole your movie for themselves they could show precedent for your unconcerned with free distribution.
Unless you're in North Korea, where we'd all just be shot.

Why let that stop you from writing a review?
I do it all the time, just to see how close i am to guessing it right.

karst review:

I laughed... I cried. I laughed at all the usual unintentionally funny things found only in 1970's TV shows, but hold on friends what in the hell is up with that 2003? This giant leap for mankind (backwards?), and by far the most authentic looking 1970's style film to grace my tv, is Maplewood, and I wept because it ended.
The Maplewood family had it all... lawn mower (evident from the opening scene), strange children who looked like 40 year old wee people, and the best damn defiled Indian burial ground right underneath their dirt floor basement.
I'm not going to go into too much more detail here as it is easy to give too much away, but remember Jack, Barb, Skip, and Zoe are ready to welcome you to Maplewood estate. Sit back, grab some popcorn, and invite your friends cause I'm giving this one a high five.
