I might add that it can be summarised as Ash survives the night in evil dead 1, then you have to edit out all upto the motorcycle through the cabin, and then play from their on... and it will be so obvious its a sequel you'll bang your head on the desk for not realising the first part is a recap. Because remember, he gets hit by the demon, possessed, lands in that puddle and all that, then conks out for an entire day... so the rest of the film is different night.

Evil Dead II definitely is a sequel in every way.

I think I commented about this before somewhere, but this is not only logical but the truth/how it is :)

You could show 'Naked Lunch' if they're the kind of people to appreciate that kind of things (ie. a little weird, like me! =)

a little weird? that's one of the weirdest flicks i've ever seen. and i think it sucks ass. but on the other hand i don't like cronenberg anyway (except 'the fly' of course). people would definitely leave the room at that one.

i even thought about showing 'Cannibal Holocaust'. but i haven't seen it yet. is it really that nasty?

Watch it first and decide, this is tough to stomach even for us hardened horror fans, you may be cleaning chunder up afterwards if your mates aren't used to extreme nastiness

I thought you'd be way more passionate about them. *Undead King starts to think of another movie to get Spudsy all riled up about* :argue:

I say kill them. Make your own home horror movie, then share

Nah seriously........I used to hang out with a group of people that hated horror and I had to put up with shit movies all the time. I think just choose some films that were made more recently. For some reason people who don't enjoy horror that much HATE old horror even more.
