well i got mine from this lot
http://www.chipit.co.uk/

not sure if they are more pricey than others but i can vouch for there good service, the best thing to do is e-mail them and let them know what you want so they can give you an up-to-date price :D i chose my own set up and they put it together and chipped it (also gave me a free game ;) ) don't forget to get some network cat5 cable for all those FTP transfers from your PC to the Xbox :beerchug:

Yep, that's exactly right, however if you want to play online and want to pirate games, take a look at xbconnect

It's only CD-R disks that the philips drive has problems with, DVD-r's work on all the drives :)

that's still too much imo. Sony and M$ have been urged to cut their prices, to boost sales this next quarter.

Let's hope they listen :)

 ?5 more for a way shittier console :o

That's pathetic of sony... especially considering since they've been in production the longest, they will also have the cheapest production materials and facility.

its not strange at all, in their view they have market domination and don't have to bend to the competitive whim as much as m$ and N. They are just exploiting their market dominance and shafting the end users, plain as day.

I hope they get screwed over on the PS3, but you know all those moronic automatons are going to go for it, hook, line and sinker!

stear clear of that one IMO :P.....i had the model before that (dvx6100) and from what i learn't and experienced mine had less troubles playing files than what the new model does....also Umax/Yamada are really slow on handing out firmware updates and when they do they are not much better than previous firmwares :wacky:

check out the forum there for more info's
