No remarks, no replies...
You guys know this flick already?
And it was not your cup of tee?

Kassovitz was once, not long ago, THE French talent.
Just curious and very :o

Ah, there is another thread about that movie...hey guys, how do you call that tactic...not perhaps..."tourist trap"?
Polityk, we two seem to have the same opinion about modern horror movies. From all the posts made by HHAH users I lowered my formely high expectations for that movie. Hollywood can burn young talented directors within one move, ahem, movie  Stil, emule participants download and request it from me nonstop...have to see for myself. Around 50% ready...

Damn, just wasted a CD on the screener a week ago. I haven't watched it yet, but I hear the quality is shit. Any verifications on this? Should I toss it and go for the actual rip?

The DVD screener by DMD had bad quality, frequent BW scenes and generally much below the quality of the average rip nowadays.

Ack, looks like I'm getting this one as well. Thanks for your help, guys! Would have tainted my viewing probably, which, if from what I hear is right, would have been bad enough as it is.

Just finished watching Gothika.
(quality was good)

Hmmm...
Unfortunately, this is nothing more then
usual 08/15 cinema from Hollywood.
Stereotyped without end. No art, no realism,
Nothing, just plain Hollywood entertainment.
Kassovitz gave all his talents away for a stack
of dollars. Talk about, how money kills... ]8~)

Greetz,
Timmy

P.S.....i?m now inside her....

Bah.

The predictabillity, laughable characters and dialogue, and pacing that kept focussing on all the wrong things made me really hate every second of this, when I finally got around to watch it.

And I just cannot see how anyone can find that cry baby pretty at all.

But that's just what I thought.

I agree. Terrible.

I don't know about you, but if I possessed somebody, my first priority wouldn't be to have them scrawl 'Not Alone'.

LOL! But if I was to kill someone, I'd make damn sure I videotaped myself and got a good clear closeup of my face, then left it lying around for someone to find.

Some of the actors have done decent things in the past, but in this, most looked like they were reading out loud from a book, for children.
