so at last i had the time to watch it on tv with my standalone.
technically speaking i think it's a very good rip. quality is dvd-like, even during the fast biker fight in the clouds of dust in CD 2 (when all the company of camelot seems to get fuck-up in total anarchy).
i mean, fast movement and clouds are notorious to be hard to encode (they tend to produce blocky scenes) but here i didnt notice any block. dark scenes are rendered very good too, e.g. when the king and the other 2 dudes are around the fire at night.
i didnt checked the commentary (i only switched quickly one time and it was there

), but the main audio track is ok, no artifacts and always in sync for the whole movie.
the playing was smooth from start to end (no choppy sequances).
i watched this movie for the first time and i enjoyed it. the 2+ hours literally were a fly-by.
i was positively impressed by the acting ability of Tom Savini. only a true talent can act well and make heads explode in the same lifespan

.
i think i'll watch it again for the commentary soon or later.
and on a final note, for who was wondering if there was Stephen King's wife, here she is:
