well i am new to Emule and a couple of people were telling me that there were mods out there that would increase the speed and efficiancy of the client... can anyone shoot me in the right direction on this?
also what is the best client to use?
im currently using Shadows Experiemental? is that a good one?

As to which mod of emule is best, you tend to find that we all prefer the one that we use, if any, and tend to stick with it.
As to the one that you are using, can not say that I have ever heard of it.

Shadow experimental is a BitTorrent client. Different protocol. Have a looksie thru these forums for chat on mods, and feel free to ask questions on setting the sods up, can be a bit complicated if you are new.
FWIW I use eMule MorphXT, but these mods can be a bit funny, you need to try a few and see which one "suits" you the best.
