My memory must be letting me down lately, my mate is with Bulldog and I thought he said he paid ~?40 for 1mb but yeah come to think of it he was boasting about his 2mb connection recently.
Back on topic, I've always used ftp but I think if I were transferring files around now I'd be on the lookout for a gmail account so several people can d/l from a single u/l by me.

I'm on Bulldog DSL 2MB @ ?40, but got it on offer where the first 6 months are ?30
It's a great service, but you get no webspace/email unless you pay extra

Well I was on NTL cable.
Signed up online with BulldogDSL and they kept in touch with me very well through email about when/where/how I'd be set up.
Then on the date of activation installed modem, configured the settings, that they laid out in the install email, and was downloading in minutes
And had no connection problems are anything since, even knackered up a months payment but they were very understanding
Sent email saying that have untill XXXX to pay, and rang them up saying can pay ASAP around that date and they were fine

1MB should do ya Bassline, and you'd have to be unlucky to have any probs with Bulldog as everyone I know with them, is happy

BT was my first broadband experience and I wasn't impressed, the line would drop and I'd have to reconnect alot, or restart PC n stuff, then moved to NTL and they wern't too bad but still had connection issues.
All is well though now with Bulldog.
They'll do a line test, ASAP and let you know if all is well
Fingers crossed!

I've never had to contact bulldog or anything, sometimes their a tad slugish, and by this I mean its not always full 2mbit, but I suspect that's bt clogging the exchange, 't all seems a bit sluggish on all ADSL isps round here atm.
Bulldog are rapidly buying up exchanges off bt though, which is good. They are a number of them and as far as I can figure, they give you free calls and uncapped 4mbit / 0.5mbit if your lucky enough to be in the region (unfortunately its those southern shandy drinkers that get this and they'll send all the bandwidth downloading sex and the city or will and grace )

i'm feeling soo litle:
let me explain why, i' had recently a boardband with 640/128 with only 1g of international downloads and only 20g of national downloads and played near 40 euros. Atm i upgrade to 1mbit/256 with 4g international and ilimited national and pay aroud 55 euros.
Now tell me your boardband in UK sucks
