For the most part I guess the old "what-works-best-for-you" holds true, but here are the reasons I use MorphXT right now:

stable:
-runs for days and days
-no strange crashes during runtime or closing
-smooth ul/dl
-can use uss with unlimited speed settings without issues (hopefully true for all uss clients)

features:
-more added all the time
-now has transfers tab and clickable icons for full screen listing of all tabs (other clients?)

development:
-often updated with additions and bug fixes

Might give neomule another go... haven't tried it for awhile. Some of the reasons I gave it up were its delay of updates to the newest official verson, and some hard to get over gui bugs. Really loved all the features though.

I never used Neomule before, but I do know this...
MorphXT is better than Pawcio.

Right, it is better than Pawcio for sure. I found it one of the best mods for releasing. As karst says, it's extremely stable too. Never really liked Neo, so I don't know how to answer your question, spud. :) Of course it's better.

karst, thanks for the explanation. I update my eule regularly, so I've already noticed this was fixed in the next version.

Could someone finally tell me what makes/made Neo so great? For me it was just an ordinary eMule mod, only less stable.

well the stability is your problem, the mods perfectly stable.

But you just have to look at the feature list to see why its way better than pretty much everything out there. Plus they all work, including A4AF management, and the like which most mods still can't do right.

You clearly aren't going to change your mind, but its by far a better mod than most out there, and if you think its ordinary then you've not used it properally I don't think. I did use morphXT for a while but it just didn't provide everything that people want, there were a few things it didn't provide, so I switched back a few versions ago. I haven't updated for a while which is why I asked if they've sorted it out yet. If neomule wasn't clearly better, you wouldn't hear so many people go on about it ;)

It's not that I can't be convinced, I'm just trying to find out why ppl love it so much, really. It's just that it's annoying not to know when others clearly find some features there that make it different and better.

I guess I'm biased, because with the first installation Neo screwed up some of my downloads... Took me a few hours to repair all the damage and since then I've been afraid to install it once again. So I even don't know its features.

Nevertheless, it's the only mod that's ever done this to my downloads.
