:-o Excuse my ignorance (dead-donkey virgin!) , has any of you guys/gals heard about this blasphemy: a remake of EvilDead without Bruce Campbell?!
Hard times for us gorehounds...with all those shitty remakes and the war on p2p.
:suicide:

Yep you heard right

Thats the news on the <a href="http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/movies/evildead.php" target=blank>grapevine!</a>

Apparently it's going to be over seen / produced by Sam Raimi and he's looking for a director to make it.

With a "hot" new cast (so no Bruce  )

All we can hope for is a half decent attempt, and then an opening for Raimi/Campbell to do ED4 :beerchug:

Was mentioned in this <a href=http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=3519&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=40" target=blank>thread</a> .

Maybe he'll get Bruce to direct it! Looking forward to this forthcoming Brucie project: http://www.mgm.com/ua/thewoods/

Yeah I read that book, it was pretty good but the illustrations were fucking awful, like old clip-art or something! On the whole it's a good book though, worth the read.

I loved that book, I got 2 copies :

1st release and then the 2nd edition with the appendix about making/selling the book.

Can't wait for his next book Make Love The Bruce Campbell Way

Bruce Campbell wrote:
I had originally pitched a travel book, but the publishers thought it'd be a good idea for me to write a book about relationships instead.
And so, Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way was born. The only problem is that I don't know the slightest thing about relationships.

Expected in Spring 2005

I got the book but never read it, he was here signing them so I made an appearance, bought one and met the chin...err..I mean man. Nice guy.

At one point, he hopped up on the table to address everyone waiting to see him. Looking up at him it was all I could do to stop myself from shouting, "Hail He who has come from the skies to deliver us!! From the terrors of the Deadites!!! HAIL!!! HAIL!!! HAIL!!!"

This was before the first Spiderman movie came out and he told me that he gave Spiderman his name in the movie but he couldn't tell me how. That was cool, insider shit from the chin himself. :beerchug:

Oh great, another classic horror remake butcher.... You just can't duplicate an era and a directors authenticity. Down with remakes.... :matrix: I'll swallow their soul!
