Just in case any of you were tempted to watch M. "Night" Shayamalan's latest move.

Don't.

Seriously.

The Village was shit, no, it was fucking shit. The last time I was that bored was when my missus made me watch Titanic, that was effort.

I fell asleep during Titanic, woke up and it was still on, so I cokked myself some food and ate it, film still on, so I went and had a bth and staye in so long I looked like a pensioner, and the fooking film was still on.

The Village was quite good actually. Both me and the missus both enjoyed it a lot. Also liked Signs and Sixth Sense - not Unbreakable though. OT, but just watched Donnie Darko for the first time tonight (the DC extended version) and enjoyed that immensely too.

Back to The Village - I rate it 7/10. And btw I saw this ages ago, why bring it up now like it's somat new??

In that the DVD rip link was posted a couple of days ago, for us that missed/avoided it on the BIG screen!

Don't scare me so. My gf wanted to see Signs. So I got it (don't say how ;-) ), now it lies in my collection. Fortunately she forgot it. However, I am sure she will remember one day. Is it really that bad? How much alcohol do I need when I am finally forced to see it?

At first I actually enjoyed Signs but maybe it was just because of the fact that I hadn't seen an alien-flic for some time. After reading maddox's review I realised it was shit.

I enjoyed Signs on teh first watch, but after that I was just bored when I tried o watch it again.

The Village was just way too predictable for me, I hate it when I figure out what is gonna happen.

I loved Signs until the ending. That completely ruined any enjoyment I had.

like all his movies is starts off fine, direction is not too bad but as usual it takes a nosedive and the last half of teh movie is a complete waste of time.....

Does anybody else find it hilarious that the ending was leaked online almost half a year before the movie was released in theaters? At the time I thought he wouldn't possibly screw up such a great premise (which turns out isn't even his own, and he's getting sued), but it turned out to be true.
