.......for downloading music, and it must be fast. What with all this shit with Sharman killing all variants, and coupled with the fact most of the stuff is shit and fake, could any of you guys suggest a decent replacement, purely for music, that has no spyware shit and the like?
I use BT for new TV eps, eMule for everything else, but the mule is way too slow for music, I refuse to queue for hours just to get a 4 meg audio file.

Hmm, I'll move this to Help-section. I think this is more appropriate in there.

Soulseek is the best for music IMO.
Never got WinMX to work in a satisfyingly manner.

No probs...
I download music very rarely. Mule is the best for full albums... single mp3's via http (google : websites) or irc (from friends) and sometimes (very rarely) WinMX for some music vids.

No spyware in the real soulseek, but there are fake ones. hxxp://www.slsk.org/ used to install a dialer if I remember correctly and the page itself was full of bulls**t.
http://www.slsknet.org/ is fine though.

WinMX for mainstream and popular older stuff, Soulseek for less well known artists. Neither come bundled with anything nasty.
Go to Zeropaid for details of these and many more.

is it just me or is Soulseek getting less and less users? Having more and more trouble finding what I'm looking for, and ending up using emule to download the whole albums instead.
DAMN I MISS AUDIOGALAXY!!!

LOL, as a matter of fact, I have been using BT to just grab entire albums as it was quicker than grabbing individual songs on Soulseek and WinMX.

yeah, but then you're reliant on someone posting those albums first....
If you just want a rare track fast, to listen to at a party for example... you can't wait for the whole album

I was thinking myself that there's lots of users in my list I've not seen for months. Audiogalaxy was better for individual tracks, Soulseek for albums. WinMX sucks monkey cock.
