I seem to be getting an awful lot of corrupted parts lately (last few weeks), is it just me or are other peeps getting this as well?

6 months ago i would get them occasionally, now whenever i go to my server tab there's loads of them.

Could be just bad luck, or it could be your connection quality has degraded for some reason. I had a dodgy connection for a while, but it was sorted by my ISP after a few fone calls.

and what client are you using? The best ones have a feature where the ones who sends you corrupted parts are temporarily banned.

That could be it, but in my defence, gotta keep the missus and kids happy.
And if i upset the missus it's back to wanking and i don't want that

I had a bunch of those too, until I got the Download Manager from here:

It stopped 99% of mine, seems with "big" titles, there's more uploaders of fake chunks. Some like Atrivotechnologies make thousands of attempts!!!

I am running shadowcast's IP filter.

Anyone know which is better?

Shadowcast has checked each IP himself.

I know some of the others can block whole swathes of innocent IP addresses.
