So is that the main reason for hating mkv then for most guys? Is the Xbox the only thing then that will play mkv for standalone purposes?

It's easy to take the files out of the container though.

Out of curiosity, how do you do this? I have never been interested, because I don't download mkv files as a rule. I don't even have matroska installed. First of all, I don't see the point of installing another filter. Besides, mkv file are usually luff of various kinds of shit I don't need, like multiple audio tracks (dubbing etc), subs in 15 languages, and so on.

I can't even load it in virtualdubmod, even though I installed the Matroska pack

it's complaining the bitrate is different or something

I just need the audio track

although I'm already downloading the VIRUS version

Not too bad? 0 is at least as good as 1, perhaps even better. Nope definitely better. I think if I had seen 0 first I would have beed seriously disappointed by 1. And yes, 2 was (relatively spoken) the worst of this series.

Actually I liked this one better than the "other" two. At least there was some explanation without leaving me saying 'wtf was that all about' as was the case with cube and hypercube (both still good in their own right mind you).

Shame about the name change though. If you've seen it you'll maybe understand, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone yet to see it.

Just saw the movie. Nothing special, but actually good watching. I'm not a fan of the series and part 2 was just pathetic, so this is a huge improvement. Good ending too, although the scenes in the forest are completely unnecessary. But I like the link it makes to part 1.

killingjokezzz i like the 1st one exactly for the reason you dont - why does a movie have to explain everything away!? can't it just be :)
