M. Night Shamalamadingdong. Did you know he put "night" in his name? Ugh. Everytime I watch his glossy, star-studded films it makes me barf.

Unbreakable was pants but the rest of his films were watchable - well the other 3 I've seen anyway, Sixth Sense, Signs and The Village are OK.

Ok Spud, by those definitions, it's a cult movie. But for me personally in my opinion, it is the most overrated film. And Saving Private Ryan.

I definitely agree with you here... The only movies I've seen of his are the Sixth Sense and Signs and I thought they both sucked. :matrix:

Here's why I agree that M. Night Shyamalan sucks.

Signs was stupid, but I thought at least at points, if you forgot the context, plot and storyline... nope... oh well.

Pretty much any movie that won an academy award over the last 15 or so years...Like Life is Beutiful and shit like that where the critics generally rave about it and it is utter trash. And this is coming from someone who likes trash...but not that smell....right spud?...Oh yeah...the original Dawn of the dead is weak too, pretty much most romero movies are..I liked the new one much better...the original Texas chainsaw massacre sucks too....Halloween was alright...but #3 is shit.Hmmmm...lets see...I am sure I could come up with alot more that would piss off the entire forum if warrented. But remember...I like shitty movies..not good movies..so my taste may be a bit biased...aren't you glad you aked this question now?Oh yeah.....Alien 3 was the worst of the bunch....now that should really get a responce. :P

Gotta agree with ya dxa.

Original DotD is cool, so I gotta disagree with ya on that one DXA. Texas Chainsaw, any of them, are OK, nothing special really.

Halloween I hate with a vengeance, not one single film in that series I really like, only watch em if fuck all else is on.

Alien and Aliens were cool, shit after that.

Well I am not saying the original Dawn sucked.I just have seen alot better zombie movies IMO.I mean when I first saw it it I guess I liked it...but years of this stuff have hardened my objectivity, and softened other areas.
Can't say the first 3 star wars sucks because I own them, watch them..but definately not the impact it had as when I was a tot.Return of the jedi though about had me in a rage...I feel it was probably at that point when I heard the Ewoks singing at the end that something snapped inside me.I always turn it off before the end now.

You be happy with the new "uber lucas" version then, he's taken the "nak nak" (or whatever) ewok song out.

i really like sam raimi's older movies (well, the gift wasn't that good) but spiderman is probably the worst superhero-movie ever. :matrix:

the only good thing there is willem dafoe and even he was seen acting better.

lol, no way is spiderman the worst superhero movie, fine you might dislike it but that's the silliest thing I've heard. I mean all the batman films after Returns are terrible, and those are just famous ones. What about The Phantom? etc.

Spiderman is ragged on way too much, a little bit of context gives it a more accurate rating methinks ;)
