When i was surfin http://www.slasherpool.com I came across a review of the haute tension movie. When reading this one i got more than ecxited and decided that it was time to order this one............................ and so i did.

Well i'll have to tell you boys and girls, This one was quite impressive a lot of really sweet gore, and a lot of tension  .

I was totally absorbed by this one, a really sadistic slasher !!
Really fun watch, and i even liked the ending of the movie.

For those not familiar with this one, i believe it's also to be found named High tension and i even think it's somewhere floating on the board. Be sure to check this

a really nice slasher, even worth the money !!!! :beerchug:

This flick kicks ass! I actually tried getting Bonnie's 8) rip a year or so ago but i was using overnet and it wouldn't download fuck all. Now i know better and just last week i started the download again in emule. I just got to stay on the mule long enough and hopefully it will complete. I still have the screener only

Best horror movie i've seen in a long time.

I saw this one at the cinema the day it was released in France. I thought it was really effective, even if the final twist sucks.
I remember that a few people left before the end, probably because the gore scenes are quite intense, and it's not the kinda things the French audience is used to.
Unfortunately, the move didn't have much success in his own country, though it was bought by many other ones during festivals. I thought it deserved better, because for once, a French movie was really daring something, really taking risks. Not like this Fulci-like crap that is 'Saint-Ange' (this one is aesthetically mastered but sooooooooo boring ... well, at least, it features the great Catriona McColl).

BTW, if some of u haven't seen 'Seul contre Tous' by Gaspar No? (with the guy who plays the killer in 'Haute Tension', I recommend it righto !

read this post yesterday and then last night i was doing the rounds at my local blockbuster and what shoould i see.... a film called "switchblade romance" with the exact same cover, on checking the back of the case i looked at the small print and noticed "Haute Tension" buried in the smallest print. Grabbed it and i must say i really enjoyed it, cheers for bringing this one to my attention, it's the same film alright. Cheers guys :)

I liked the movie very much, up to the point where the abducted girl managed to escape from the van. I just hate these unfair twists (which could explain just about anything, including the eclipse of the sun or a JFK assassination)
