The fact you have to pay a monthly fee is the only thing that keeps me from buying it. I've been a Diablo2 (and exp) addict for ~2-2,5 years. I really don't think i'll be disappointed by this game, it's all about the money...

Actually I can't play for more than 10 minuttes at the time before it shuts down and gives me an Error 132. Despite the thousands of other people with the same problem, it seams Blizzard can't figure out the cause for it...

Man Blizzard is fucked up!!!!!
They've got an 'error reporting' just like windows does, but the WOW one doesn't work!! After pressing 'Send error report' it just stays there for a while, then it says "fails". I found many others had this same problem.
Then they've got a tech-support forum, but when I try to post there, I get a 'FORUM RESTRICTED' message, but no explaination as to in what way it is restricted, or what I have to do to post there.
Then they've got a tech-support email, which I sent a mail, explaining my error, but got it in return the next day.
BUT! I eventually managed to fix the error. It was the ram that caused it. New ram, and everything is purrfect.
sooo.... no-one else here that's bought it yet?

Stonemaul
Lev 41 Artisian Enchanter / Artitian Tailor / Warlcock - Jynks (Main)
Lev 42 Artitian LeatherWorker / Artitian Skinner/ Hunter - Itto
Lev 29 Master Alchemy / Herbilizum / Durid - Hiroe
Lev 8 Mage - Shikmia
Lev 2 Warrior - Jyujinkai
This game rules and blows away Starwars Galaxies in such a major way!!! The PvP action is sooooo much fun!
THE WHORED MUST BE CLEANSED!!!!
Have you read about battlegrounds yet... holly geebus!!! That looks good.
Fuck your crappy realms off and join stonemaul... it is a young server... still low population so no queing and by the time it is full of whored to hunt in battlegrounds you'll be a proper highlev!!!
Are guild has regular raids and is active in defending.... Tarren Mill is a good spot to find us battling the whored.... Also at the mo are fav raid spot is the Undercity.. kickn those deadits in the ass... twice we have taken over it and camped it all day LOL
The WHORED ARE WEAK!!!

lol my thoughts exactly, I pay for a game that deserves it and no more.
Any subscription fees on the internet beyond setup and isp I'm skeptical of.
I think there is a perfectly suitable and way more acceptable free alternative.
Even if my all time favourite games went online, they'd have to be pretty miraculous to get me to pay a subscription fee for something I already paid for.

So why not give the game away at a stupid price like 9.99 or sumink?
If I paid full whack for a game, and also for my ISP, like fuck would I pay to play the game too.
Either charge a slightly higher RRP and no subscription, or switch it around and have a lower RRP and a low subscription.

I'm inclined to agree with tak, despite his odour and status.
I think a lot of the smart companies will be moving for the free route. I'm wondering about this xbox live 2 malarky; nintendo says they are giving away free wireless access, sony and m$ are likely to follow.
That will give free online access to console games barring the odd one or two.
Hell even Steam lets you play for free, and everyone hates steam.
You can pay for bandwidth through sponsorship and advertising (in game bill boards, website ads, etc.), and also donations. Gimmick donations is one thing. Cyber server space for donation is a nice idea.

hehe, I couldn't agree more! The monthly subscription is shitty! There was no way in hell I was gonna pay for that shit. NO WAY. I never pay for any games/apps/movies at all.
But then I was visiting my friend, and he was playing it.... hehe.. I just HAD to get it myself. =)
