IMDb | Rotten Tomatoes

Plot Synopsis
London, 1944. John Reginald Christie (Attenborough) is digging in his
backyard when he comes across a woman?s leg. Unfazed, he covers up the
leg and continues to bury the woman he just strangled in his kitchen.
Three years later, Timothy Evans (Hurt), along with his wife, Beryl Evans
(Geeson), and their baby, rent an apartment in the same decrepit building -
10 Rillington Place. The young couple struggle to live on Timothy?s
minuscule pay while Christie insidiously inserts himself into their lives.
He manipulates the pregnant Beryl and the illiterate Timothy until they
believe he will perform an abortion on Beryl. However, Christie has other
plans...

Ripped a few times before mistakes were discovered - the film is mono
originally, which I failed to note first time around, this led to a
bitrate of 742, which has now changed. It doesn't lose too much quality
compared to the DVD and definitely not worth the bandwidth of a 2-disc
release. Certain scenes will have a shake/flicker appearance, this also
appears in the DVD source - specifically ten minutes into the film where
three characters are standing in a room. The Sir Richard
interview is a rar file containing 12 XviD .avi's - I did attempt to
join them, but encoding left the audio out of sync at the end, so split
they remain (this is how they appeared on DVD). Takeshi_Shimura
gets priority (for requesting this), main film gets priority
over extras (excluding subs) for the moment.

Quality looks fine, are you sure this shouldn't go into high quality?

Either Way : *Click* excellent film, thanks

I can't say really, I'll have to let someone else be the judge. - Re: the comments about the flicker in certain scenes.
