Trying to dload Fulci`s House of Clocks... And it is really awfully slow  . One of the users said to set upload priority to release. So, what does it mean? Btw, I`m using emule 0.44d.

Go to your shared tab, and then right click the file -> Upload priority>Release.

Emule works on the premise of the more you upload the faster/more you can download. By sharing that file on release, its more likely to be your active transfer in your upload, and by proxy, you give more out of that file to the other people downloading that same file. Your credits build and you raise your position in their queue, and are more likely to download that file quicker/complete sooner.

Maybe not. That lowid could really do with sorting out. If you are behind a firewall you may need to forward port 4662, if it's blocked by your ISP then try a random number in an unused range for your TCP port in Preferences -> Connection, say 48620-49150

yes lowid = generally not good, means people can't connect to you correctly

Have you got your firewall setup right and everything?

Ah, thank u so much for your concern %) I am really embarassed  Well... I don`t have firewall or brandmauer... It`s just because i am in LAN and connecting to internet via VPN... I tryied alot of things, read lots of faqs... But it just seems that it`s impossible for me (or, maybe, I just didn`t get something). And my provider doesn`t have a "real IP" for unlim %(
Maybe someone can`t connect to me, but my cumullative UL:DL ratio is 4.10 %) But, hell... I really am have to forget about some of Luchio`s and Umberto`s films :suicide:
And thank you once more, Spudthedestroyer and George :beerchug: %) Btw, what does "spud" mean? %) I am from Russia, so beggin` your pardon for my awfull english %)

A spud is a potato :) Often used as a nickname for people though, there's a few spuds in movies/tv.
