@Everyone, the reason this thread has stayed open is the simple fact that unlike many forums we are pretty mature and open minded. Racism will not be tolerated by many here, myself included. I know my comment about not surrendering like France may sound racist, it was not intended in that manner, more of a historical note.

I am sure many of you feel the same as me in the fact we try to be open minded, try not to generalise and not to judge simply because someone has different beliefs.

The thing that pisses me off in the UK, dunno about other countries, is the simple fact that PC has gone crazy, you got traditional English folk being told not to do this, not ot do that, do not fly the Union Jack etc just in case you offend some Muslims or Indians or whatever. WHAT TH FUCK IS THAT ABOUT???? do not have much interest in religion, I do not really even know what the differences between all the religions are, and TBH I do not care.

At the end of the ay people are people, yeah we are basicly a product of our environments and upbringing, but we also all have our own minds. To me, people are just that, people. You have a different belief to me, so what, your choice. As long as it does nothing to interfere with my life we have no problem.

The only problem I have that is religion based ATM is my fucking neighbours, they are Jehovahs Witnesses, this in itself is not an issue. What is an issue is the fact they keep telling me I am living my life wrong.

Who the hell are they to say I am living my life wrong? So I download films, technically stealing them, so what. Me and the missus have given beds to many ppl who needed help, we help teh community, we do our best to make this world a better place and they the cheek to say we are doing all wrong because we do not worship their God. I guarantee my family has done more to help ppl than they ever have.

Considering they are so highly religious, I find it immensely amusing he has cheated on his wife several times, he even had teh cheek to bring one of his bits of fluff home to meet the family and then wondered why a huge arguement ensued, now who is the better man? That adulterous preaching slime ball or me, someone who is fathfull and loyal as a puppy dog?

Anyway, going off on a huge tangent now, so I will just sum up my feelings:-

I do NOT judge ppl on their beliefs,

I do NOT judge based on past experiences with that race or religion,

I do not preform opinions based on the media/word of mouth.

I am quite proud to say I am massively open minded about most things, despite the fact I have a dodgy tendency to say things that sound racist, even though not intended. Just a bad case of mouth in motion before the brain is in gear LOL

Looks like it was some Pakistani suicide bombers from Hyde Park in Leeds. That's where most of the student accomadation is just over yonder from the Uni.

Not much info apart from that that I've heard, were they local or foreigners for example, but that makes me wonder if they were students and if so, were they over on a student visa? I belive that's how the 9/11 suicide bombers got into the states.

News was saying they were British born.

True enough spud. I suppose in a way many ppl contribute to this sense of isolation, not in a deliberate way, but I know none of the people from our local ethnic groups, or whatever the fuck we are supposed to call them know.

It is not a deliberate fault by me, just the way things have turned out. Like I said before, I have known many, many people whose original place of birth is somewhere else, but the local groups in my home town are a relatively new phenomenom, and they have yet to integrate fully, if ever.
