Had this mod on my comp for a while now, and decided to give it a whirl as it a good releaser mod but something's bugging me.

I've given a friendslot to member of the board, but Morph is giving all my upload bandwidth to this one client on my current uploads list.



The speeds do fluctuate, but the other clients are going to be there for ever while everyone in my queue will get diddly-squat.

Is there a way to spread my bandwidth a little more evenly, I had a look in preferences but couldn't see anything.

that setting is to do with the ZZUL slotfocus option implemented in Morph (among other mods).....not sure if it can be disabled as i haven't used Morph for a while but in the mod i'm using now it can be disabled so the bandwidth spreads evenly between all slots so you can still have a friend slot and some bandwidth getting used for other slots

That is really weird. I have Morph, and whenever I give somebody a friendslot, it just keeps constantly uploading to them. At times that slot will be faster than the others (like taking up half of the upload speed), but nothing like that. Did you add them as a friend, or give them a friendslot (I'm using an older version of Morph, they might have changed this around a bit)?

Can't seem to find any options in Preferences, that relate to the slotfocus that you mentioned.

But my bandwidth seems to be balancing out now though, the friendslot is getting about 7KB/s and 1 other slot 4KB/s and then 2 more with low speed.

fierysky - It's a friendslot not just added to my friends.

It's seems now to be working as you described, more speed to the friend and then 1 slot at slower speed and 2 low speed that will be next in line.

well the friendslot will always go to slot 1 and should take 98% of the bandwidth available bar the small amount used for trickle slots...it may now be lower as perhaps the person in that slot doesn't have enough downstream bandwidth to handle all 98% of your upstream so then what they can't use passes onto slot 2 and so on until all bandwidth is used....makes sense?

Just glad it seems to be working properly now, Morph should help my rips spread a bit quicker than with plain old Emule.

i thought Morph was a good mod (i used it up until about v5) but nowadays it's just a memory hog if you have a lot of d/l's running and it has become bloated and crap IMO

i was using Pheonix mod up until a few days ago which i found to be as good if not better than Morph but with less resources being used but still having a nice feature list but unfortunately it is no longer being developed so i am now onto another mod which is also not being developed anymore but so far it has been fantastic for releasing and very good with resources so i doubt i'm gonna change from this one for some time

I'll have a look at that mod Bassline if I start to have anymore problems with Morph.

What I would like to see in a mod is the ability to limit number of upload slots to say 3-4 as in Neomule but with properly implemented upload priorities which is bobbins in Neomule. In case anyone thinks this is for leeching purposes, it is not, I reckon a release can spread faster with a smaller number of users downloading faster and with a couple of judiciously used friendslots in place rather than 10 users getting 2.5k/s. Anyone got any suggestions? I tried Morph and Pawcio, they both have their good points but neither lets you limit the number of uploads.
