Why bitch....who cares if the movie sux or if its great,,but ur right about 1 thing it'll make a ton of money. And if it's because its not a good adaptation of the book, well..., I dont read novels so I dont really care.

Damn, that movie was a let down. Yeah it had the FX, but so what, the film itself was shit. And how fucking annoying was that screaming kid? Shit, I woulda fed her to the pod ppl myself.

i really liked the first three quarters of the film, im a big fan of the book and you can see he tried to squeeze as much from that and the original movie as possible, however the end is total shit, typical feel good american bullshit, not gonna post spoilers but...wtf was that end all about.... Apart from that i thought it was a great movie, it needs a special sdition with alternative/dark ending.

lol, i heard someone say the movie was very good yesterday, I was pretty amazed since thats the only person that I've heard say it... "everyone else was like... this sucks"... turns out she hadn't even seen the original :o

I saw this the other night... I thought it was great... pretty much nonstop action, and I really liked the tripod creatures themselves... I've heard a lot of criticism of the "feelgood" ending but it didn't bother me any.

This movies a typical case of the tailer looking awesome in order to get your ass on the seat and turns out pants.
10-15 min of decent spx as they land on earth, other than that total crap.
